Create whimsical and dreamy effects with this new Gansai Tambi watercolor set!
The Granulating Colors set includes 5 pan paints (Aurora Red, Aurora Pink, Aurora Orange, Aurora Blue, and Aurora Violet) and 1 empty pan for mixing/dissolving colors.
When these paints are activated with water, the colors will begin to split into multiple tones such as orange & teal, blue & violet, etc. giving you unique results every time!
If used directly from the paint pans, the colors will begin to shift on the wet paper. For a greater color change, try dissolving them before applying to the paper. Place a bit of water in the empty mixing pan, then brush in some of the color, and watch as the liquid paint begins to turn into a swirling color combo!
Blurring and other color effects may also vary depending on the type of paper used, so try to experiment between various surface textures (hot vs. cold press, etc.) and see what happens with each!
Each individual watercolor pans measure about 1 3/4" x 1". Color names are printed on the bottom of each pan.
