Includes 6 individual watercolor pans in the following colors: Sumi Red, Sumi Yellow, Sumi Green, Sumi Blue, Sumi Violet, and Sumi Brown.
"Sumi-e" is a popular monochromatic Japanese art style meaning "black ink painting". It traditionally consists of only black ink, with various intensity of the black depending on the amount of water used to dissolve it into a range of gray tones. These special Gansai Tambi paints add a hint of muted color to this artform for intense and expressive creations!
Each individual watercolor pans measure about 1 3/4" x 1". Color names are printed on the bottom of each pan.
