With thick points composed of a mixture of both wax and oil, these pencils feature smooth, blendable, lightfast, highly opaque colors that are great for drawing, coloring, and mixed media artwork.
Their wax/oil combo formula allows them to be used on smooth, hard surfaces as well as paper, and they can be blended with an oil medium to add an oil paint effect.

review on Posca Oil Pencils
These are exactly what I wanted and they came to Canada within 2-3 weeks. the only reason I gave it only a 4 star review was the shipping was between $15-$16 for 7 pencils. Ridiculous, Canadians need to think hard before ordering from this company.

Superb Color, Excellent Blending
I bought 4 of these pencils, tried them out on a project and then bought 6 more. These apply smoothly, blend beautifully and the colors are pure. I have a dozen green pencils and all were too blue. The greens I bought are excellent for nature drawing.
